You make me smile:

⁃ When you say my name

⁃ When your hand holds mine

You bring me joy:

⁃ When you laugh, sometimes nervously

⁃ When you take me out

⁃ When you introduce me to your friends

You make me tingle:

⁃ When you kiss me

⁃ When you stroke the back of my neck

⁃ When you run your hands up my leg

You make me feel safe:

⁃ When you hold me tightly

⁃ When you take care of me

⁃ When you tell me everything will be alright

You turn me on:

⁃ When your breasts brush against mine

⁃ When you take my nipple into your mouth

⁃ When you love me with your tongue

You build me up:

⁃ When you believe in me

⁃ When you tell me how amazing I am

⁃ When you trust me with your truths

You make me feel alive:

⁃ When you are with me

⁃ When you fuck me

⁃ When you really look at me

Making me feel so comfortable –

My “sometimes home”

You invited me into your arms,

Encircling me with your love –

A feeling so warm

You invited me into your soul,

Sharing your dreams & darkest secrets –

Trusting in me

I welcome you into my whole,

My world, my heart, my arms & my soul –

My everything

You took me by surprise

Your affections, your eyes

Meeting, heating

Looks more than fleeting

You make my heart sing

Consume my everything

Probing, craving

A little misbehaving

You love me so deep

Into your soul I creep

Searching, learning

For you I am yearning

Three little words

And there they are

Three little words I have longed for you to say,

Slipped, unexpectedly into a text,

Delighting me

You say them aloud for the first time

Rolling the phrase around your mouth

Exploring the form of each word with your tongue

Testing the sensation

You say it again,

More confident now

Meeting my certainty with a sureness of your own

Your words make me grin

Crave your touch

Your voice in my ear,

Your arms around me,

Lips on lips

Legs intertwined,

Fingers inside me,

Probing

My body answering your urgent questions

With a quickening heart rate

Shallow breathing

And a sweet release

My heart shatters into a million pieces

Glass-like shards piercing my skin

My tears run like a fucking ocean

Flooding my home and sweeping me away

My pain explodes like a fire bomb

Flames and dust surround me

And then I am still

Silent and alone

Numb

Transparent

You see inside me,

Like you have literally ripped open my chest and taken a magnifying glass to my heart

You know me,

Like you have been living in my head and manufacturing all of my thoughts

You love me,

Like it is your sole purpose on this earth to make my life complete

Fearlessly vulnerable and soppy… again

It isn’t poetic or eloquent

It’s an unedited stream of consciousness captured on paper

I wrote you a letter

My heart ripped open,

Blood splattered on the page in a jumble of words

I wrote you a letter

My soul laid bare,

Black words stark against the white page, naked and trembling

I wrote you a letter

That I’m not sure you should read,

Lest you be put off, freaked out or scared away

But I will likely show it to you anyway
